I'm searching for a 2 piece 8' jigging rod for salmon. I can find 8'6" no problem but having trouble locating an 8'er. Really don't want to hack the ends off either. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have an opportunity to purchase 4 hardy fly rod blanks from a gentleman who's father in law passed away. These are new never been built on and date back to the 60s or 70s. Problem is I have no idea what they are worth. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks jerry

A customer wants me to strip the guides and finish off of a loomis blank and rewrap with micros. My question is I haven't ever stripped finish off of a blank and am wondering if you just put the blank on a lathe and sand it off? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sorry I must not be clear enough. i have seen some I ice rods with colored o rings on them to secure the reel rather than to tape them. It just gave the rod a different look than black electricai tape. I am not talking about the slip rings. I found some rubber o rings today at our mantainence shop at work. I filed down a couple grooves in the bottom of my reel and rolled the o rings onto them

anyone out there try using envirotech for guide wraps, where i buy my materials the owner said he is using this stuff instead of regular epoxies cause the cost of it much cheaper but i am reluctant to try this cause i dont know much about this product. any input on this product would be appreciated
