I have refinished several of these rods. If you want a restoration to original rod find someone to finish it but if you want it restored to fish but still keep it fairly original you can do it. Get some of the citrus stripper and take all the eyes off the rod then inspect it like Tom has said. 8. rosewood rod
Just finished this one for a friend, it has a handle of solid Honduran rosewood. The finish is PG. Little heavy but satisfactory for his type of fishing.

15. rattan grip

18. Catfish rod

This is a Batson pack spinning rod made for our Pheasants Forever @#$%&. It consists of 2 brass inlays in a combination of red cedar,maple ,walnut,ebony,tulip wood and rose wood. The inlays were imbeded in LS Supreme allowed to cure sanded and finished with Permagloss.
