The CCP blanks are great rods and the only one's that come close to the old Hatteras Heaver style rod while incorporating the newer rod materials and improved construction. Have one of them on the way and will build and test it. Really, really hope it works out. Thanks guys!

Have two of the Rod Geeks blanks already as well as the 13' Daiwa 3pc. The rod geeks blanks are great as are the Daiwa 3pc to too a lesser extent. Both are actually good rods when not used past their parameters. Did some more research and your right about it being discontinued. Come to find out it was never offered through Lami in their catalog. They were limited edition surf blanks with a woven but, 70/30 split and ultra lightweight. The blanks were 13' and would handle 8 to 16 oz's and bait.
