Running guides in the 8-10 size is ok for a spinning style rod? Thanks for the info, that will give me an idea.

3. Surf rod

I have a friend that wants me to build a 10-1/2' 2-6 oz lure surf rod. I'm used to building 9' steelhead rods can anybody give an idea what I would need for a handle length and or guides? Thanks in advance. Pete

6. G-Loomis fly blanks

I have 2 G-Loomis blanks, they are F108-8 GL3 and GL2. Can anybody tell me what the difference is between the GL2 and the GL3? And about what the blanks sold for when G-Loomis was in business? I could sell both blanks built into fly rods, but I dont know what the blanks are worth. Thanks Pete

10. labels for amarican tackle matrix rods

Does any one know where I can get some replacement labels for the matrix? I ordered some rods off of a well known @#$%& site recently and they did not come with labels. I was just wondering if any one knew where I could get some labels. I would prefer the labels from American Tackle. Thanks, Pete

i build alot of bluegill rods out of a 71/2' 4wt fly rod blanks, they make real nice ultra lite rods...i've been building them for about 30yrs or so

i'm rebulding an old fenwick, and it has foulproof spring wire guides on it. any idea where i can get a set that looks or is new? somebody told me mudhole, i looked there but those guides are not the same....thanks....pete
