<p>The guides in this photo are off an old inexpensive Japan bamboo fly rod. the fly rod guides are gold in color and unique shape. <p>I have been able to duplicate the material that is used in this spring bobber for ice rods. But I don't know what the end is. The flat, square end of the plastic bobber actually fits ina slot in the bottom of this thing. Anyone knows what it cold have originally been used for?</p>

This is an old ice rod tip top. I need to find more. The tube size doesnt matter but I would like a variety of tube sizes. The ring is a #16. The lake trout/salmon guys like these on their deep water ice sticks. any idea on where I can purchase some of these?

I was asked to build a Harley theme spin rod for a charity poker run. This was a 6’6” medium spin rod. I used burnt burl for the split grip. After it was turned down I colored the rod finish with black model paint to turn the finish black. Three coats of finish on the cork and it turned out pretty well. I did black and chrome guide wraps but the star of the rod was the Mud Hole Project X spi

I am looking for a 9 foot blank, 1 piece, XH power, fast action, rated for lures in the 10-12 ounce range. St. Croix does not have one in that rating in a 1 piece, their's is a 2 piece. Going to be used as a musky rod. Suggestions - prefer blank suggestion you have actually built on. thank you Buzz
