I am building a new rod and the guy wants white grips and reel seat. I have been told the the Magic Marble Mad Swirl Marbling is what i need to use to make my cork grips and reel seal white. My question is do i have to prime the cork and reel seat with a primer and if i do what primer do i use and do i need to put a clear coat of finish when i have made the cork and reel seat white?

i have been having problems with bubbles or it may be specks of trash on my finished epoxy finish. i smoothe them out with a razor blade and put another finish on it but it still comes back as little high specks. is there any way to buff the finish down with out applying another coat of finish? I use ProKote.
