One of them are so called Camo tippet - camoflage applied at tippet material to minimize spooking fish. Also, ridiculously strong floating tippet for dry flies and completely memory free tippets. David, Yes, AAAA Natural Silk was exactly the one we used for that invisible wrap you saw at our homepage. Wetting with ethanol on the wrap just until the it turns transparent, that was all we have done - nothing mixed into epoxy. We strongly recommend 2 coats coz first coat is applied on ethanol so it's not as firm as pure epoxy finish. Your package was shipped yesterday. Thanks.

David, Thanks for your call this afternoon. Just to make it clear, we didn't mix acetone in epoxy - we just applied very tiny bit of ethanol on wrap until it just turned transparent and then applied epoxy on it. I'm sure mixing some acetone will give better result but the photo you have seen is a result of using ethanol only. Sorry if I made you confused. Thanks.

Hi David, If you look for totally invisible wrap, our undyed silk thread (AAAA or AAA) will do the job - take a look at this photo . You just need to thin 1st coat epoxy. If you need something going translucent with a strong nuance of original colors, we have Metallic Noble thread which is especially nice for bamboo rods with its sheen color. You can check how it comes out on dark blank withou

Fred, I'm sorry if I gave you an impression that way - I knew you didn't assume it. Only reason I added another post later was I got a couple of questions from members after this post asking how our epoxy's non-yellowing is like compared to other brands. So wanted to add some more info on that for everybody. I'm sorry if my 2nd post didn't sound right. Thanks!

I might have left an impression that our finish epoxy yellows bad, but that was not my intention - our finish epoxy's non-yellowing will be still above average. I just meant better option other than ours is there for those who really need non-yellowing. Since TiO2 in NCP threads, Color Preserver and UV inhibitor in finish epoxy are all foreign materials negative to perfect finish, we are currentl

Hi everybody, We are often asked what is the mix ratio of resin and hardner by weight for our 2 part finish epoxy - looks quite a few builders prefer mixing by weight. In short, the answer is Resin : Hardener = 1 : 1.2 - theoretically, it is 1 : 1.19 but we still recommend 1 : 1.2. The reason is, it's not always possible for builders to mix in that magic ratio of 1 : 1.19, then slightly more h

Hi David, Here is color numbers of our NCP Teal Blue. RGB (0, 149, 198) Hex 0095C6 Pantone 17-4540 This is side by side comparison of 2 colors. . Before/after finish epoxy applied on black blank It looks to me Teal Blue after epoxy is even closer to the one you want to have, if you build on dark blank. Thanks.

Hi Chuck, I'm sorry that we were unable to release our metallic thread as scheduled. The latest is, A is scheduled in dec and D in feb. What happened was, we were all prepared to release 200+ colors metallic in sep right after ICAST and some samples were already sent out, but we found color fastness of metallic could be much improved to be like that of nylon thread's.
