Our new grips have arrived and are now ready for shipping. We were tired of plain looking carbon fiber grips so we've come up with an alternative to make your next build unique and give it the wow factor. These tubes are sanded smooth with a black matte, almost camo / weave pattern. No two exactly alike. One inch ID with a .05 mil wall, these grips are strong enough to hold up to rod holders a

Limited Editions, colors, and a standardized rating system. Speaking of which...if anyone has a old school Seeker White Tiger blank, I am interested in buying.

The RS blank James mentions is a great blank but I prefer the 1146 as it is shorter and easier to handle. Another great blank is the NFC SA 906-2. Tad heavier than the 1146 but great for handling bigger fish encountered out in Neah Bay and the ocean. Make sure you use some Alps Ti guides to provide extra resistance to saltwater. I also prefer carbon fiber handles which can be sourced from

Could be any nondescript feather, ala pheasant, and dyed blue vice being that color naturally. I didn't notice until you asked your question though that it looks as if he wrapped the edges with peacock herl. Another thought was that perhaps it is blue chatterer.

You'll need the pulley as well. Would also recommend getting a spare belt.

Also one idea that has not been mentioned is to build yourself a rod drying box. Having a smaller area makes it easier to control the environment inside the box.

I'm not entirely sure that anyone could recommend you a blank to fit the bill based on the limited information you've given. IMO I would want to know what environments you fish in and more specifics on your quarry. I personally use a different setup for each fish you mention; switch for salmon/trout in the salt, spey for salmon/steelhead on big rivers, and a single hander for bass on lakes.
