&lt;p&gt;This is the winn grip I'm wondering how to ream for a .510&quot; bass rod.&amp;nbsp; It thought the butt cap would be removeable so I could ream the handle and glue on the cap, but that's not the case.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This is the setup I use for shaping my cork handles.&amp;nbsp; I made a jig to hold the shopvac attachment where it can suck up shavings and dust as it's created.&amp;nbsp; I like to rough shape with a Microplane rasp.&amp;nbsp; I like drywall sanding screen instead of sandpaper.&amp;nbsp; A simple steel rod functions as a mandrel.&amp;nbsp; Notice I wrap tape

At a fishing expo I saw rodbuilders using double-foot Minima guides on musky rods and they say it works really well. So I'm planning a MHF musky rod using #6 double-foot minimas as runners. Can someone suggest what size to use for the stripper to get the proper height to keep the line off the foregrip? Based on a chart in the catalog, there is a big difference between #16 and #20 height so I'm
