It has been many years since the Fuji Cermet guides were available, so I am having to go with a memory that is getting older by the day, for the exact model numbers. There was the titanium frame version with the gold cermet ring and also the stainless frame version that had a frosted exterior finish with the gold cermet ring.

Hello Albert - I believe we have found the culprit. You have to make sure and extend the thread finish beyond where you laid down the edge of the color preserver to completely cover the color preserver and encapsulate. Otherwise when exposed, the color preserver will wick under moisture from now on.

Albert - Did you happen to use color preserver on the thread wraps before applying the CTS Crystal Clear. If you did use color preserver and did not extend the Crystal Clear beyond the end of where the color preserver was laid down to encapsulate the color preserver, the color preserver will wick moisture underneath and create the cloudiness.

There other suggestion that I would toss out to think about, is whether you will be using a round type reel that sits higher in the reel seat or a low-profile type reel that sits lower in the reel seat.

Hello Brian -- To be able to get the Wiggle Wart as deep as you can, the further you cast, the deeper the Wart will dive to and stay down for a longer stretch. A 7'-6' CB905 or 8' CB965 MHX cranking rod will achieve that extra distance for you. Here is a link to the MHX Cranking Rod Blanks Thank You

Chris - We offer firm EVA grips that are better suited to match up with spinning seats and we offer EVA grips that are better suited for casting seats Also, here are the matching fore grips As Ken Brown 2 mentioned, you can go with a 3/8's inner diameter and ream the inside of the butt grip or if 8" up the rod blank from the butt is still at .500, you could use the .500 bore of the butt g

Hello Mike - There is not a magical distance for the space in between a split grip set-up. We know for sure there is going to be a piece that is installed on the very end of the rod.
