My wife wnts me to build her a fishing rod. She wants casting guids put onlike you would spining guides so she can use her cast reel up side down like a spining reel. Any suggestions Please I thought this wip needed a laughter once in a while Bob Re: NEED HELP WITH WIFE PLEASE

Hi Bob- This one's easy.... Spiral wrap it and let her fish the rod however she wants. When she gets a fish on, that rod will snap to attention- righting itself in the process. I will leave the casting and retrieving part up to you to figure out, though! Tom Re: NEED HELP WITH WIFE PLEASE

Reelman, unless you want a knotty head you best build it the way she wants it. Remember, the customer is right (most of the time) and all of the time when the customer is a 'she' and you have to live with her! Her rod, her way of fishing, don't mess with mother nature. I was taught that using a spinning reel upside down (on top of the rod) goes on your permanent record. I never thought about a conventional reel underneath, though. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
