I am really not sure but the topic was broached in the last few days. Something about a paste wood filled it seems like. If you do a search on that topic I think you'll find it.

On the bamboo board this guy used Pilo Bond glue mixed with cork dust and useda putty knife to apply it. He said it worked great.. Basically Pilo Bond is Contact cement.. Thanks Daves Rods

I tried carpenters water proof wood glue and and it turned real dark color kinda purple.. So dont use that glue, trust me I just tried it.. Thanks Daves's Rods
