Since I resumed the craft last year, I had been toying with the idea of setting up a website to consolodate this cottage industry of rod building. Searching for suppliers has eaten up my time and filled my hard drive. I'm glad now to reap the rewards of such an effort without having to suffer the headaches of doing it myself. My fishing cap off to Tom and others involved with this endeavor--great job!

I assume this site will expand to allow small time rodmakers like me to link to the Web pages of other rodmakers to view their products. I love to see pictures of other's work, such as the folks at Golden Witch. If you haven't seen their products, the site is worth the trip.

I'm very excited about what's happening here and very pleased to find that the folks who love this craft as much as I do, are graciously willing to share their tips, talents and success. Thank you all very much.

Rob,

For the time being, the site links are limited to dealers, manufacturers and organizations. Of course, your suggestion is appreciated and will be taken into consideration. As time goes on we may expand into the areas you suggest. But no promises for the time being. Thanks for your interest.
