I almost have my mind made up, but I want to come here for some suggestions. I'm looking to build a fluking rod to be used around the sandy hook area in NJ. A 7' rod used from a boat averaging 4-6 ozs. of wght. Any suggestions are greatly apreciated! Thanks, Dan Re: Help with a Good Fluke Rod Blank

Take a look at the Lamiglas Tri Flex blanks. They're exactly what you're looking for. Re: Help with a Good Fluke Rod Blank

I agree with Capt. Neil as he helped me with my first fluke rods. I sed the Calstar that he mentioned and have caught numerous fluke over six pounds this last year including two over seven. I can't tell you how sensitive they are and the price isn't that bad either. Go with Calstar. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
