Some of you guys share some of the creative things you do with the end of the butt grip. I want something more than a plastic cap.

Othel: I have seen casting made of a tuff epoxy with flies imbedded in them to serve as a buttcap, there are nickle silvder plates with a stem on them in various diameters, that can be engraved, Let your imagination run wild. Match the insert wood with a combination butt and hosel set. I have done this with customwood available from Clemens. Comes in different diameters and machines reasonably well. Walnut, Silver grained ebony , dark zebra or rosewood. Any will look good taken the time to finish properly
