Could anyone out there tell me what the best product and method is for sealing a cork grip to protect it from wear, water, and skin oils?

Second that. U40 doesn't cause the cork to get a plasticy feel like many do. It will darken the cork a little, but nothing that is still not appeasing to the eye. In fact, I like the little darker tone better. Super easy application and great results.

QUESTION: Can you use this product on older, used grips? What should I clean them with before application? Thanks again.

I have had good luck cleaning the handle with dish washing liquid. Letting it dry good and then applying the U40 Rod sealer. A very good product.

Thanks, Barry. That is an easy fix! I guess water doesn't bother cork, so why not clean it up with soap and water?

Cool. I'm going to be treating all my cork very soon. Thanks again, everyone.
