I'm considering buying and building a Signature V fly blank to add to my collection of moderately-priced fly rods. Has anyone had any experience with these blanks that he/she could share? I'm especially interested in the 8'9" 4 wt. 3pc. As always, thank you so much for all your insight. Re: Dan Craft Signature V Blanks--Thoughts/Experiences?

There have been many posts on those here. Try the archives and see what you come up with. It has been a few months back. ......................... Re: Dan Craft Signature V Blanks--Thoughts/Experiences?

I recently built up a Signature IV, 3 pc, 4 wt. The blanks are great and the lightest I've seen for their line weight. Just be sure to really wrap the female ferrules well (at least twice the diameter), the walls are very thin. Contact Dan at: danfisherman@earthink.net.
