This is an update for the Jan. 26th 2002 (Saturday) rod builders’ information exchange to be held at Bob’s Bait and Tackle, Velp Avenue in Green Bay Wisconsin.
To date we have the following demonstrations scheduled;
Feather inlays

“blind” trim wraps

building/using spine finding tool

repairing broken blanks

building/turning cork handles

building your own rod turning station

making graphic lettering on computers, with some information on making labels using “water graphics”

We hope to have many of the rod builders bring some of their rods for display. If you have a topic you want covered that is not listed above, please contact me and I will search out an “expert” for you. If you want to demonstrate a technique, great, let me know. Please attend and bring some of your rods for display, or bring a unique rod building tool to show. This will be a great day of exchanging rod building information. Contact me if you have any questions or comments.
Thanks,
Buzz Butters
