Sounds like a heavyweight to me. Is it listed on their website? Re: Rainshadow SU1509

Ed When you say "casting weight" do you mean line weight? Rainshadow rates it for 15-20 pound line. The SU1509 is a fast action, graphite/glass composite surf blank. Bill Doherty Re: Rainshadow SU1509

Ed I must'a been think'in 'bout fly rods when I read your post. You mean "lure weight", or that's what I call it. Some manufacturers give lure weights in their literature, some don't. I don't think I've ever seen any lure weights listed by Rainshadow, just line weight. You might try to email them. Left of here is the web link. Sorry I misunderstood you before. The suggested lure weight range is 3 to 6 ounces for the 1509. This rod blank also features an offset ferrule system. Bob Batson Rainshadow Rod Blanks Forecast Rod Components Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
