Kudos to PacBay for Rodsmith Glue

I was one of the lucky ones who was provided a sample of the new Rodsmith glue from PacBay (thanks Tom). I just got a chance to use it on a couple of seat & grip layups for a pair of flyrods I'm building.

I was a little curious at first given that it has a somewhat thick liquid viscosity in the bottle, and I'm strictly a Rod Bond user for its quality of being like a gel. However, the Rodsmith product, when mixed up, gets thick to a level slightly less than the Rod Bond product, and I found it to be great to work with. Mixes easy and quickly, not too sensitive to proportions (I just poured similar amounts from the bottles); penetrates great and dries quite clear. Great product.

Thanks for the review David, glad to hear you like our new "RodSmith" glue. The consistency of the glue is one of the things that I really like about it, it makes assembling multiple handles a breeze.
