thinning duragloss????

If you mean for brushes then I think solvent denatured alcohol has been mentioned as being all you need.

Acetone but thinning epoxies is not recommended from what I understand.

Not a good idea. The best and only way I know is to heat the finish to 75-80 degrees F. Then you pour it onto a flat surface, covered with foil. At that temp. it is thinner without being so hot it cures too quickly.As I remember, the only epoxy you could thin the way you ask was Crystal Coat from Clemens.

as stated on the instruction sheet -- DO NOT THIN EPOXY RESINS-- Duragloss LS needs no thinning and, it is compounded to be used is. The resin may be a bit thick at times, so zap it in the microwave for about 10 seconds and you will get better results than any thinner could ever give you.
