One day rod builders info exchange set for Wisconsin

The date has been set for Saturday Jan. 26th 2002. The place will be Bob’s Bait and Tackle in Green Bay Wisconsin (the largest fishing only store in all the Midwest). There will be no entry fee. Bob’s will be giving us the use of their seminar room for the day.

At this point in time we are still scheduling rod builders to put on various demonstrations throughout the day. This is the first time that we are setting this up so please be patient. What I need is contact from area builders who might want to attend, what they want to see demonstrated, plus those builders who are willing to put on a demonstration, or just bring some rods for display.

My home computer is in the shop so at this time you will need to reach me via my work email which is rbutters@cityofripon.com
Please contact me with your ideas, requests, and offers to display or demonstrate. Those builders who wish to stay at a local motel may contact me. I will use my business tax number to get them the corporate rate.

Should be a great time. Please try and attend. More to come when the scheduling firms up.

I live in LeSueur, MN. Maybe we could car pool out there, if we decide to go.

jnail, I can't find your city on the map. Where or what city would you enter Wisconsin from. I can give you a time frame from there.

Hey, Minnesota boys.
Green Bay is slightly over 5 hours from Minneapolis. I live in Maple Grove, and I can make the trip with two boys less than three years of age in five hours. I hope to see and talk to you guys there.
