Warren doing ok

Hi everyone. I'm Warren's daughter signing in under his identifier; I do have his permission.
My dad was operated on yesterday afternoon,51/2hrs. Everything went well and Dad's doing just fine. He's trying to get them to let him get out of bed but he only THINKS he's ready. He'll be up and shuffling about in 2 or 3 more days. We're hoping to be able to bring him home by the 10th or 12th at the latest. No doubt the hospital personnel will be happy to be rid of him LONG before that.
My Dad is an old - fashioned PAIN. When he came down here he left in his room here at our housethe following; 1 carton of unfiltered Camels, 2 6 packs of Becks beer, 2 5ths of Crown Royal, and 1/2 gal of Bombay Gin. He actually thinks I'm going to let him into that stuff. Oh he'll get back into it when he gets back to his place and is unsupervised but HERE HE WILL NOT.
I'm sorry. I love my dad so much as does my husband but he is such a bull headed pain.
Well I promised him I'd let "all his pals" at this site know that he's ok and I have. Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes, you'll be hearing from him in about 10 days. Molly

Thank you for letting us know. I expect he will back online soon - between cigarettes and beers I suppose.

Molly,
Thanks for the message. Wish Warren a good recovery and hope he'll substitute more the rodbuilding for less of the booze.
Merry Christmas.

Rich
