Rub off letters

I love to use rub off letters found at hobbby stores to add initials to my rods, but have been finding difficulty in finding the nice small cursive letters in black. Instead of using tape, as I read in post below, try the rub off letters. They stick well and look wonderful with a basewrap of gold with single ttrim bands of black at the ends and your initials in the middle. Instead of those expensive little label makers, for the fraction of the cost, you can add initials or whatever to a whole lot more rods. And they dont give you any trouble when you pour your epoxy.

Dry transfer lettering, done properly, is without parallel for making rod inscriptions.

You can have custom dry transfer lettering made to your specs (colors, styles, etc.) by calling Ed Dao at ColorWorks in Charlotte, NC. His number is 704-568-9222.

I have used transfers made by Ed for many years now. Most people mistake them for perfect hand lettering.
