How soon after the initial coat can I apply a second coat of Threadmaster?

Jeff,
As soon as it is not tacky. After mixing up a bach of finish, keep it around for tacky feeling testing - without touching the rod and its potentially wet finish. Good luck Re: Threadmaster

I usually put on a second coat the next day. But, I have done it after about four hours. It will depend on the ambient temp. The cooler your space temp, the longer you will have to wait. That is using Threadmaster Lite. Re: Threadmaster

I do what Roger does, keep the cup you mixed in and if it's still sticky wait it out , Threadmaster lite takes considerably longer to be tack free even in optimal conditions. Re: Threadmaster

Hello,
If Threadmaster High build, minimum 8 hours, maximum 24 hours. In this frame time you will have maximum chemical adhesion between each layer. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
