Can anyone suggest a source for aluminum fly rod tubes? Something other than the usual black crinkle finish or brushed aluminum finish that you commonly find.

There are now available fly rod tubes made from carbon fiber with aluminum caps that are very nice. They have some color options as well. I have been using them for my customers with great satisfaction.

If you are willing to try something that can make the presentation of a rod "pop", try this site for a tube with owner's name, rod weight, etc. They also have carbon fiber tubes.

I don't know about color options, but Angler's Workshop used to custom build rod tubes in house, you'd bring them the rod, or measurements and they went in the back and came out with what you needed 15 minutes later.
