Last week I was on one of my semi monthly trips to the Mt Home, Ar area and as someone very new to rod building I wanted to stop by and visit, buy a few things and perhaps pick a brain. Although the shop was currently closed Mr Schneider's wonderful wife was more than happy and sweet to take care of me. She herself being a rod builder she was able to educate me a bit as well and help me with a few items I was in need of for a trout rod build for use on the local White River and after her seeing her mounted stripers on the wall I see the real need for another rod build for use on Norfork lake and a new quarry for my 2 grandsons very soon! I am looking forward to my next trip to once again stop in and visit and buy some things for another project.
