I guess the PC version is called VisualWRAP :-)
VisualWRAP is a full-blown PC package for cross wraps, and one of its features is a spacing calculator.
In contrast, this spacing app for the phone is a single-purpose tool that does one thing only - calculates spacing using the same algorithm as the VisualWRAP software. Its output is a spacing table, a chart showing the central crossing points on the 0 and 180 degree axes (top and bottom) of your rod.
Some people purchase vizwrap for this spacing tool only. While I do appreciate the sales, it feels a bit like buying a new car just to use its stereo. I thought this new tool might hit the mark for those who simply want the functionality without the full-blown package.
If you do some searching there are occasional posts about various other spacing spreadsheets available. I've never compared any of them with VisualWRAP to confirm whether or not they give the same results. I have confidence in the VisualWRAP spacing algorithm due to all the feedback I've had on it over the years its been in the market (since 2002!).
