Going to try epoxy over cork (or maybe Perma Gloss). Should I use cork sealer first? Re: Epoxy over cork...should I use cork sealer first?

No. Cork sealer really doesn't seal so much as it keeps stains and dirt more at bay. The texture when dry makes me believe it won't let a finish stick well, permagloss may cut it, it does a lot of finishes. Re: Epoxy over cork...should I use cork sealer first?

When i use to flocking of cork i would first seal it with testors laquer and especially the big pits that would soak up the epoxy glue i used to flock on..i would keep dabbing the laquer on the pits until they were sealed then coat with epoxy and apply flock..
