KL-H 5.5 , 5 sizes compared to KT size 5 runners

I looked on Mudhole's site and it says the KL-H 5.5 size guides are around 10 mm in height , does anyone know if the KT size 5 guides are of similar height ? I assume the 5.5 guide size is in between a size 5 & size 6 but not certain.

Trying to decide if the KL-H listed runners in size 5 M and size 5.5 L would make better runners than KT size 5 guides.

Thank you

Here are the heights you are asking about:
KL5.5H - 15.0 mm
KL5.5M - 14.6 mm
KL5.5L - 10.8 mm
KT/KB5.5 - 7.3 mm
KT/KB5 - 6.5 mm
There are no size 5s in the KL series
I would go with the lower profile guides for runners, but that’s your choice.

Norman, I don't know how you got in there ahead of me! I had the sizes and was too lazy to type them in!

Is the 5.5 a larger ring size than the regular 5 size or is it just in height ?

Thank you very very much gentlemen.

The 5.5 mm is indeed larger than a 5 mm ring. You'll notice the 5 mm is also shorter, part of that is the difference in ring sizes.
