Planning on doing an American diamond cross wrap and I'm at a loss as far as to which shade of red and of blue to use. Cp or no cp. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance. Re: Thread colors.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think ProWrap ColorFast 446 Regal Blue and 325 Fire Red would work. Re: Thread colors.

If you want the colors to be bright, to "snap," use CP. there are interesting colors that result from not using it with thread that is not color fast, but quite unpredictable. with CP you know quite well in advance what you are going to get. I would to with candy apple or some other bright red and a dark blue - dark for classy look. Look at color wheels on line, see what you like. Pro Wrap publishes Pantera numbers on their thread, and that can be helpful.
One last thing to consider is the use of thread that does not require CP to retain color. Most builders believe these threads are a little less handsome than the threads that require CP, lacking a little sheen and depth of color. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
