Any fly builds with the new Arctos blanks yet? Was thinking of building a 10' 7wt just because, and they seem to be reasonably priced. Will probably use for Steelhead up here on the Great Lakes. Re: Arctos blanks

Just built a 10'3' 6wt, and it is very true to spec. All that have cast it have been pretty amazed at its performance Ron Weber Re: Arctos blanks

I just finished an Arctos 10' 3" 4 wt. that was intended to be a tight line nymph, indicator & dry fly all rounder. After test casting it today with an SA Ultra 3 WF4F line I was amazed and impressed how nice it cast 20-45 feet, laid out line and leader dead straight and loop control was easy. Way better than expected. I like the Quickline blanks but my 5 & 7 weights need to be uplined to be happy. This Arctos loaded just right with the designated line weight. Hope the rest of 'em are as good. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
