Nothing fancy, just a few minutes from the floor at this past weekend's Expo. I'll prepare a more upscale video when I have more time next week.

That video is perfect. Great turnout, every booth was busy. My seminar was at 4-show closing time on Saturday, and you can see how packed it was at that time.

Tom:
Great video, thanks for showing all the rod builders who could not attend the Expo a glimpse of all the vendors we use but have no opportunity to meet. Looking forward to see the upscale video

Thanks

Everyone owes it to themselves to attend the ICRBE, at least once. It's not an inexpensive trip, but you have a year to start charging a few dollars more for your rods and putting that extra $$ in an ICRBE piggy bank.

Tom,

Much thanks for all the hard work and time put in to another great show! My wife and I truly enjoy going and mingling around and picking out different products to try out each year.

Billy is spot on ...there is a lot of fun and fellowship and just getting to know other people makes it so appealing in today's market of expositions to attend. If anyone can or wants to come to NC to get away at least make a presence just once.

Billy .. you did a awesome seminar as usual and although I was one of the late ones lol I did get spared. Sometimes although I know we are off to the side but from the crowd it is sometimes hard to hear some presenters. Speaking from an attendee, listening to yours was clear and easy to understand back a few rows as my hearing isn't the best.

Ha, no golfing, no hunting really no more for me ( not great eyesight in one eye) and really no remotely other hobbies but building rods and I may for some friends sums me up.

During one of the seminars my wife and I attended we got to talking with a couple from West Virginia and I shared some things about the show with them as the man said he was retired and wanted something to pick up since that chapter in his life had passed. We was showing him Rodmaker magazine and showed him the pics inside it as well etc.

My wife spoke up ...."And that is the only magazine we get anymore at our house!"

There is a thorn though...I just can't get to everything and shop at the same time because after attending a couple of seminars on Sat. am I did get lucky to obtain the last REV72UL that was there.

Some items can be hard to find it you don't make the most of your time.

Also met a couple of regulars from this forum as well and got some local contacts in dealing with marbling and cork too.

Lord willing, we'll see you next year!

THank you Arthur! LMAO at showing up late - Daria deserved teh recognition and admiration for what she does with the rods she and John make. I'm friends with them and if I'm not busting chops something is wrong. I think it keeps the seminar interesting and moving along. I was unprepared for the seminar, which I apologize for. I should have practiced with the mic before - I was having a really hard time with it. I am really happy that you were able to hear what I was saying, and I hope you picked up a tip or 2 and use them in future rod builds. Thank you! And...lol Shamwow!! ahahaa

It's always great to get feedback like this, and see people who had an awesome show experience, and who are helping promote the craft to others, as you did with the guy from WV. Little things like that go a long way to getting people hooked on the craft. Thank you Arthur! We've already started planning the booth for 2019, a few of the NERBs want to improve things, we've set up a meeting in MArch at someone's shop and we're going to start working on a gameplan to have more at the booth next year. Video screens, wood lathe, Visualwrap set up, rod wrapper, better rod racks, more organized. See you there
