Expo Reminder for Manufacturers and Dealers

Every year without exception someone who did not buy Expo booth space will show up and expect to sell, or market, or advertise in the exhibit hall, either from another exhibitor’s booth or from the aisles. As is the case with most similar consumer and trade events, this is not allowed. With the Expo just days away, it’s time for the yearly reminder about the event rules primarily regarding manufacturers, dealers, resellers, etc.

If you have not purchased booth space you are not allowed to conduct business of any kind in the exhibit hall. Dealers without booth space may not work from a manufacturer’s booth nor may a manufacturer work from a dealer’s booth.

And no, I am not overly concerned about custom rod builders wearing their company hat or whatever. A manufacturer or dealer, however, is a different thing.

So, if you do own or operate a rod building manufacturing or supply business and do not have booth space at this weekend’s event, by all means come and enjoy the event like any regular attendee, but leave the business end of things at home. Let’s respect those who have purchased booth space. Thanks.
