I like that tent setup. I'd like 80 F better. Is that a possibility? Re: CRB Rod Drying Tent, Heater, And Thermometer

I’m using it in the garage. Not the warmest place in the world. If you’re bench is inside your home, then the ambient temperature would probably raise the temp of the tent to something closer to 75 or 80. With my garage hovering around 60...it’s fighting it. I added an oscillating space heater to the garage...which made the interior temp of the tent reach 75. As with many of the things in CRB line of products, the mood ring thermometer is a repurposed fish tank thermometer. Ingenious repurposeing...which I admire. This only occurred to me after looking at it 20 times. I bought the package that came with the tent, heater, and thermometer...so the thermometer came with it. However, I wouldn’t buy the thermometer by itself. An aquarium thermometer sticker has color codes for every degree versus the CRB having increments of every five degrees.
As for the entire tent system’s functionality...I’m giving it a thumbs up. My wife doesn’t want me setting up shop in our home while I have a workbench in the garage. This took care of the temperature and dust issues...as well as saving me from the ire of my bride. I started applying my finish at 11:30AM. 9 hours later, my finish is smooth to the touch and no longer tacky. That’s in my garage, on a 55 degree with victory at sea winds.
