Yes , I've checked their online catalog but I couldn't find the guides I'm interested in. So I was thinking that maybe there is some other rod building shop in Canada which might have them .

Andy at rodbuildersupplies.com will order them in special order for you. I actually just ordered a set for a float rod build a couple weeks ago from him. He is the only guy I deal with to be honest. He's full of knowledge and useful information and has no problems sharing it. It will save you about $40 in duty charges finding someone in canada that can get them for you. Try giving him a shout.

Thank you very much for the info Scott, I believe I'll do just that . Duty charges avoidance was the reason for which I was looking to buy them from Canada and not from US .

Speaking of duty charges do you guys know if anybody is importing rod building components from Japan as well? They have some nice winding checks at Matagi which I used to use back in Europe.

I didn't know that they have that. I'll be taking note of this.

That is actually a very good advice . I'll do just that (lets hope they won't be scared about a tiny bit of competition on the rod building market :) )
