Which one of these 3 blanks would be a good jerk bait rod throwing weightless plastics, floating worms and swimming plastic up to a 1/4oz jig head. Will be fishing 8lb fluoro.
Rainshadow RX6 SB-782 8-14lb, 1/4-5/8 oz. fast/med Rainshadow RX6 SB-822.5 6-14lb, 1/8-5/8oz. x-fast/med Rainshadow RX7 ISB-822.5 6-14lb, 1/8-5/8oz x-fast/med Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/12/2018 03:31PM by Roger Rierson. Re: Which Blank for Jerk Bait

Out of the ones you’re looking at the RX6 SB-782 would be a great choice.
We’d also recommend the Revelation REVS68M or 72M – if you want to step it up a notch or two. [www.rainshadowrodblanks.com] James Taylor Batson Enterprises BatsonEnterprises.com | RainShadowRodBlanks.com | ALPSForeCast.com | Build2Fish.com Re: Which Blank for Jerk Bait

Follow batsons recommendation, step up you won’t be sorry one bit!! The blanks you have listed worked pretty darn well for shakey heads and some liked them as heavier drop shot rod. If you would really like to kick it up look in the immortal lineup!! Re: Which Blank for Jerk Bait

Thanks James & Thomas. I have a RX7 882.5 built for dropshot. I also
have the REVS68M but haven't built on it yet. i am saving that one for myself. I picked the blanks in question on close out to build for my oldest grandson. Again thanks for the reply. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
