Frank,
I have been using West System epoxy for 40 years for all sort of structural stuff.
I also used the 150/250 mix for years for grips and seats until I tried their "G Flex".
It's more viscous and it's one part to 1 part.
It is also more flexible which makes it better for our purposes.
It is not quite as strong as the 150/250 but for what we need it is way more than adequate.
I tested it using a propane torch to remove a reel seat after boiling it to no avail. The torch did nothing but destroy the locking washers and foam bushing. It did not separate the seat from the bushing. Strong stuff
