left lists

any idea where to find online FREE left lists. I have an alphabet set which I use all the time but I would like to have an assortment of fonts &/or simple pictures to work from. However I am basically cheap so I hesitate to buy any. I did buy a few years ago "Pic to Weave" but for some reason I do not find this intuitive hence I haven't used it. I have installed it and gotten the updates but have yet to actually use it.

Thanks for any help

You might find Visual Weave more intuitive. If not, I'm sure somebody will have an alphabet left list to share with you.

First of all you don't need a left list to weave from. Weave directly from the graph / pattern, you are using to make the left list. You might try cross stitch patterns of different fonts if you are not able to make a pattern of your own. Investing the time to learn to use the program you have would be worth while but if you don't like the program, you might do as Tom suggests or try "PC Stitch", a cross stitch program. Learning to make your own patterns will open up a whole new world for you. Try here, [www.thespruce.com]
