Rod Marking Methods

I hate china markers! At best they leave a smudge that's 1mm wide. Does anyone know of a marking pen, pencil or device that can precisely mark the blank when trying to set up the cross points on a decorative wrap?

Goo Gone will remove it entirely, no smudge!

A pencil works well in most instances.

A very soft lead pencil with a very sharp point.

I use Stabilo Pencils I got from a Art Suppy, White #3052 or Yellow #8044. They can be Sharpened in a Pencil Sharpener to fairly fine point. And they are harder than china markers, and rub off easily

Thanks Barry! I've tried all kinds of stuff and nothing I've tried has worked out too well....I'll give the Stabilo a shot!
