Decal Application and second coat of finish

How much time can you wait in between the first coat of finish, then applying the decal and the application of the second coat of finish. I am using ThreadMaster Lite formula, two part resin and hardener.

As long as the first application is set well enough that you don't damage/upset it, you can apply a second any time after that. If you're working with a water based decal, I would probably get the first application a full day's time to set before applying the decal.

Thanks Tom.That worked. I knew I needed to let it set but wasn't sure if I could wait that long and still apply another coat. I had been using another brand and from the directions with that brand read to apply second coat within 6-10 hours and that finish I knew would still be tacky. This is the first blank where I needed to apply finish and then apply the blank. The previous builds I was able to apply the decal straight to the blank and then apply the finish.

David, Just finished a build using fingernail art decals (sports teams) I recommend a full day of drying before any epoxy is applied. The build was Awesome. Very well received!!
