STWRAP samples were shipped this afternoon and will be delivered to you mostly within this week. You should receive a shipment notification mail with tracking information shortly. I appreciate for the interest you have shown for this event. By the way, factory shipped only 30 yds sample spools so unfortunately everybody is getting 30 yd spools this time - sorry if you were expecting full spools. It was also first time for me to see AA and E size myself. AA is really thin and less stretchable. Might need deliberate control of tensions during wrapping since it can break easier than bigger sizes but it was designed that way. E is quite strong and needed to exert some force to break it. Hope you enjoy STWRAP!

Our sample trial event is still going on but from now on we need to ask you to go to our website to order instead of sending me a mail. Though our homepage is still under test run, you can order it from there. When you ask samples of 2 or more, pls don't forget to put in your company (business) name in the delivery address. If you have any specific request, you can also fill in "Other Instructions/Comments" box when you checkout. You will see a message regarding payment processing error - just ignore it and continue. That is because we disabled payment processing. You can just go ahead with guest checkout and we won't ask you to register if you don't want. It's free and we pay shipping. Last things is, Hitena is having booth at ICRBE in feb. We will show almost all tackles we sell in the States - main line, assist line, leader, hook, terminal tackles, spray, grease, along with our rod wrapping threads and fly tying threads. That is 2000+ SKU's. Again, one thing I can tell you is we have the best quality ones among those categories we are producing. Hope you stop at our booth and check. You will see some quite unique items too.

hi Gabriel..just curious, what are the denier of these rod winding threads and how many filiaments make up A and AA thread..Thanks..

Hi Ben,

What I know is AA is abt 160d and A is abt 240d. As for the filaments, I have no idea but let me ask our R&D.

Received my sample of AA.I haven’t tried any wraps yet but it looks really good. Definitely thinner visually than any A that I have used but with good stretch and strength from pulling a small section off the spool. Initial impressions is that it should work very well for light fly rods.Hopefully I will be able to really try it out soon.
