For you guys that build trolling rods. What would be the blank of choice for an 80# class rod for Marlin to be used in the chair? Re: 80#

From our line of RainShadow Rod Blanks we'd recommend our RX6/E-Glass RCTB56XXH - [www.rainshadowrodblanks.com]
or our E-Glass FSU56XXH - [www.rainshadowrodblanks.com] James Taylor Batson Enterprises BatsonEnterprises.com | RainShadowRodBlanks.com | ALPSForeCast.com | Build2Fish.com Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 10/09/2017 11:49AM by James Taylor. Re: 80#

Hello Robin.
In the 80# Class I've Built on American Tackle AXRT-80-W, Batson FSU, Lamiglas WRT, Pacific Bay XST, Seeker GTS, and Shakespeare US. My personal favorite of these is the Seeker and the Batson. I don't think I have ever built any Calstar of any size, lots of 50# Lamiglas Tight Wraps & Tighter Lines. Bob, New Bern, NC. Re: 80#
