For you guys that build trolling rods. What would be the blank of choice for an 80# class rod for Marlin to be used in the chair?

From our line of RainShadow Rod Blanks we'd recommend our RX6/E-Glass RCTB56XXH - [www.rainshadowrodblanks.com]

or our E-Glass FSU56XXH - [www.rainshadowrodblanks.com]

I do love the board sponsors...but I'm sticking with Calstar or Seeker in this instance.

Hello Robin.

In the 80# Class I've Built on American Tackle AXRT-80-W, Batson FSU, Lamiglas WRT, Pacific Bay XST, Seeker GTS, and Shakespeare US.

My personal favorite of these is the Seeker and the Batson.

I don't think I have ever built any Calstar of any size, lots of 50# Lamiglas

Tight Wraps & Tighter Lines.

Bob,

Bridgeton, NC.
