I had a request to make an 8ft carbon fiber gaff. Problem is I don't know where to find these blanks. Any suggestions on where to find some? Much appreciated! Re: Carbon fiber gaff blank

You might try a push pole mfg. Mudhole, stiffy, etc. They might sell you the section you need. I noticed all the recommended ones by Roger are fiber glass. The push poles aren't tapered. Re: Carbon fiber gaff blank

At 8ft plus arm reach, the carbon fiber is lighter and allows for more control. Re: Carbon fiber gaff blank

Why would you ask why his customer wants a carbon fiber gaff? I would simply assume that he/she can afford it and it's what he/she wants. More power to them! Find the parts and get paid!
That Mudhole link takes you to Calstart gaff blanks...I don't believe those are carbon fiber. Re: Carbon fiber gaff blank
