When putting down gold foil for decorative butt section I have been having a problem a couple times of the glue being used reacting with epoxy and getting major fisheyes.
If I was to put a layer of color protector over the foil before applying the epoxy do you think it would seal it and allow the LS to bond properly? Thanks Rick Re: CP

I think it would, but recommend, now that you've found a problem, that you test the solution. Simply do what you plan on a scrap blank section and see if it works. Re: CP

It should. Do as Michael said. More than one coat would be best. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 10/02/2017 07:28PM by Lynn Behler. Re: CP

you could probably secure the foil with colour preserver. Chris Richer Iroquois ON A word you have used in your post has been banned from use. Please use a different word or contact the forum administrators.
