I've been trying to find a Snub nose half-wells grip for my next 6wt build with no success. This is the style that Sage uses on most of their freshwater rods Do you guys know of anyone that makes and sells them? Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 07/21/2017 04:11PM by Chris_Miller. Looks like they'd be pretty easy to make from a full wells grip, extend the fore-taper a bit and cut back your nose to the diameter you like. Years ago G Loomis made a series of ladies fly rods and made them shorter and smaller diameter, been using them on my personal lighter fly rods for years. I've never really liked cigar or half wells grips, much perfer full wells, Fenwick, or Ritz grips on everything. Re: Snub nose half-wells

If you know the dimensions, maybe Custom Fly Grips to the left would turn it for you. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
