Sources of bamboo blanks

I have round rod making pretty well figured out and have now built four bamboo fly rods on blanks from a sponsor to the left. They have been a great and affordable 'foundation to learn from'. I have been searching the internetwebatron for blanks that are more expensive and hopefully higher quality now that I know more about what to look for than the $150 blanks, but not as expensive as the high end blank makers that seem to start prices at $600+. Is there no middle ground to continue down the rabbit hole with?
Thanks in advance,
BR

If you find sources please let me know. I bought hex and tri-hex bamboo blanks from a fellow in ID in the $350 to $550 range with ferrules mounted. Most unfortunately his health was not so good and he retired.

Bruce,

I noticed in the current issue of RodMaker magazine an advertisement for Peak Bamboo. Their website link is: PEAKBAMBOO.COM. They indicate Fly rod, spinning rods, casting rods, surf rods and more!

There are a ton of US bamboo makers, often working out of their home shop, who can help you. You could email me and i'll send you a link to help.
