Hello!
Can someone com pare the SJ842-MET from MHX and the 3SW70MLF from St. Croix? I like both colors. The blankweight is different, is the action the same? Also like to read from anglers, who have only on of them in use! Best Regards, Jan Re: Compare 3SW70MLF & SJ842-MET-MHX

Saltwater blanks like the St. Croix historically are nothing like the power and action of a freshwater spin jig blank. This doesn't mean you can't use them interchangably where appropriate, I do it all the time. Re: Compare 3SW70MLF & SJ842-MET-MHX

The 3SW70MLF is intended for fish more like the Ungestreifter Pelamide, Echter Bonito, and the Bläuel. The SJ842 is more for fish like the Schwarzbarsch and Forellenbarsch.
So despite seeming much the same they are rather different. The 3SW70MLF is about twice the price, weighs a bit more, and is intended for more powerful fish. Russ in Hollywood, FL. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
