Blank Most Like the Discontinued RX7+

I have a number of rods built on those beautiful Chestnut Brown RX7+ blanks that were discontinued long ago. If I wanted to get a blank that had similar or same action, feel and performance, what would y'all recommend?

Thanks,

Tony

Rainshadow Revelation blanks replaced the RX7. Similar action at least for the ones I tried.

Haven't tried them all, but the few Bushido fly blanks I've cast were similar, as best as I can remember. The US built RX7+ blanks were a bit livelier in my hands than the RX7 blanks of the time.

Some say they were St.Croix SC3 blanks from the pre-IPC age ...

Hey, y'all. I appreciate the replies. After discussing this with someone that really knows blanks - and agreed the RX7+ was one of the greatest blanks ever made - I am going to try an Eternity 2. Apparently, many people that liked casting the RX7+ enjoy this one as well.

There really isn’t a replacement for the RX7+, the closest would be the Eternity2 blank which is a step or two up in materials and production – which you should be more than happy with.

The RX7 fly would be the Revelation blank.

Thanks, James. I just ordered the Eternity 2, so I appreciate the further confirmation that this blank is the ONE I should try.
